Looking for the best drone with a camera? Well, you have come to the right place. One of the main reasons I enjoy flying drones is because of their cameras, drones with high-quality cameras allow you to do many things. One of the main reasons people purchase these drones is because it allows you to see and experience the world from above which is always exciting.

It was actually quite tough to come up with this list, because as the world of drones continues to grow, so does the quality of quality of camera drones. A few years ago, it would have been quite easy to come with this list of the best drones with a camera but with so many high-quality camera drones on the market, it was difficult to choose which drones to include and which ones to leave out.

As you would expect, the list is dominated by DJI, which is the leading consumer drone company in the world, not only do they make gorgeous looking drones, they are also highly sophisticated and a joy to fly.

All of these drones are expensive and they suitable for everyone but more people with some experience in flying drones and those who need them for professional reasons.

Also remember, these drones will need to be registered wherever you live and if you plan of using them for commercial reasons, you will also need a license. So, in no particular order, the following are my choice for the best drones with a camera.

The Mavic Pro was a game-changing drone and its successor, the Mavic 2 takes these game-changing features to a whole new level. The Mavic 2 comes with a similar design, which is a good thing because DJI really hit the jackpot with the foldable design of the Mavic Pro which has now been copied by a lot of other drone brands. The Mavic 2 is a well-designed drone with a solid build, it may be one of the smaller DJI drones but it will hold up in windy conditions and comes with powerful brushless motors that allow the drone to fly faster and maintain steadiness whilst hovering. It comes with an intelligent battery that gives the drone a leading flight time of 31 minutes. One of the major upgrades to the Mavic 2 is the multi-directional obstacle avoidance system, this will help people avoid crashing the drone even when is going at very high speeds. As for the camera, there are actually two versions of the Mavic 2, one comes with a camera that has been built by Hasselblad that is capable of taking 20MP images and recording videos in 4k. The other is the camera is from DJI and it can take images in 12 MP and record 4k videos. The Mavic Pro remains one of my favourite drones and the reason for the huge popularity of foldable drones. This is the original Mavic and still remains a fan favourite with its sleek aerodynamic design, cool metallic grey colour scheme and a stunning 4k camera. Foldable drones have always been my favourite type of drones and the Mavic Pro is a huge reason why it is such a compact drone but within it, there is so much innovative technology. #10. Autel Evo 2

This is one of the best drones with a camera, it is the worlds first drone with a 7.6k camera, something I always thought DJI would do first. This drone may also be the reason for delayed release of the Mavic 3, as some reports say that DJI was caught off guard by the 7.6k camera on the Autel Evo 2. The original Evo is a very good drone (you’ll find it further down the list), the Evo 2 has a similar design but comes with added features that make it the ultimate drone for professional photographers or filmmakers. The main attraction of this drone is its 7.6k camera which produces absolutely mind-blowing aerial video footage, the details you will be able to capture with this camera is truly amazing. Another incredible feature is that it comes with lossless zoom, you can get up and close to your subject matter without moving the drone and the footage will be in 4k!! The drone captures still images in 48mp, which is unheard of in a drone and also comes with HDR. One other major addition the Evo 2 is it the 360° obstacle avoidance system that is controlled by an AI processor. It has the best flight time of any drone on this list at 40 minutes and has an incredible range of 8km.

Key Features

  • 7.6k@25fps/6k@30fps
  • 48mp
  • 4*Lossless zoom
