Snapatin H823H Mini Drone Review
The Snaptain H823H is a mini drone, it measures just 2.8*3*1 inches and weighs 26g, so obviously there is no need to register this drone.
With the packages, you get some extra propellers, 3 batteries, a screwdriver, charging cable and the remote controller.
The drone is so small it fits in the palm of your hands, the propellers are encased in a plastic cage so it’s safe for kids to fly and it will not do any serious harm if you crash it into anyone or anything.
There is a small LED light on the front so you can dim the room you are flying in and fly the drone. The controls for this drone are really responsive, it’s a 4-axis drone and comes with headless mode so the controls are easy to understand.
When you fly the Snaptain H823H Mini Drone, there is hardly any wobble effect, it flies really smoothly and with its altitude hold it hovers very well.
The controller is small just like the drone, it may feel a little awkward in the hands of an adult since this is a drone for kids and the controller is tiny just like the drone. It’s powered by three AA batteries (which are not included with the package), it has a range of around 30 meters, but the range does not matter since this is a drone that is meant for indoor use.
The controls are easy to understand but there is a good instruction manual that comes with it if you need a bit of help. It has a button for automatic take-off and a button for an emergency landing, not that you will need to use the emergency landing button but it’s a nice feature to have.
There is also a button that makes it do 360° flips which will definitely impress kids and its three-speed modes so you can test your flying skills.
The drone does zip around quite fast in its default speed mode and is fast in the top speed mode but don’t worry, it’s not so fast that you will lose control. Even if you do, it has a protective casing so, there will be minimal damage should you crash it now and then.
If you are looking for a drone for your kids maybe for a present or they just really want one, the Snaptain H823H is a fantastic choice as it is one of the best and most popular drones for kids. However, it is not just for kids, trust me, even as an adult you will enjoy flying this mini drone, its fun and very easy to fly. If you are completely new to drones and want to learn the basics of flying, drones like the Snaptain H823H are perfect for this reason.
